MY REVIEW- This is book 3 in Hannah Ellis’ Isles Of Scilly series. It can easily be read as a stand alone story, but I’d always suggest reading a series in order so as to get the most out of each book.

Beth and her five year old daughter Ellie, have had a soggy old time on their holiday. As they are due to leave for home, the weather perks up.

When offered the opportunity to extend their holiday for a few more days, Beth and Ellie jump at the chance to do so.

Trystan, is on his way home to the island. Finding that his mother has rented out his cottage to Beth, he is forced to stay in his family home.

As Trystan and Beth get to know eachother, there is a clear spark between them.

Beth lives in Plymouth and Trystan is based in London.

Will what they have be just a summer romance? Or can they find a way to make their blossoming relationship work?

This is another feel good story from Hannah Ellis. I’ve loved this series so far, and I’m looking forward to book four being released in January 2023.

I warmed easily to the characters in this book and the sense of community is delightful.

This isn’t a complicated story. It’s light and fresh, which sometimes, is just what I want to read.

The Summer Escape is a gorgeous read. It has a fantastic sense of community, a heartwarming romance and is just overflowing with glorious sunshine.

A five star, warm the cockles of your heart read.

The Summer Escape

Single-mother Beth desperately needs a break.

Grieving the loss of her mother, she sets off to the Isles of Scilly with her five-year-old daughter, Ellie.

Their holiday cottage is utterly charming, but it’s meeting Trystan – the owner of the cottage – that

makes Beth’s stay so perfect.

When their holiday fling starts to feel like something more, she knows she’s in trouble. Her life is in

Plymouth, while he lives in London. Besides, Trystan has already admitted he’s not ready for a family.

Is he prepared to take a leap of faith for Beth and Ellie? And with the odds stacked against them, can

they find a way to make their relationship last beyond the lazy days of summer?
